creative juices
In the next few days I'm going to be working on creating a covered piece to wear on an upcoming photoshot with Darryl "13" Bennett , an awesome artist in the DMV area and beyond, as his work has been seen further than the three quadients. Saturday while attending a Malcolm X birthday celebration in Mt. Rainer, MD I came across beautiful twin serpent bracelett, their names are Black Isis and Sepertine Valentine. The girls will be featured in the shoot along with the covered creation. Sorry no spoilers on this post.

a walk on the wild side
This next project is really going to take me into my element. The artist who will be photographing me-pause- I call him an artist because he is a wonderful painter, accomplished photographer and printer, and a digital mix master. He is beyond dopeness. Anyway, we have a shoot coming up in a couple of weeks.
I came up with the idea of me blending into or becoming some organic compound of nature. It has evolved into doing something tribal but with a futuristic twist. My task was to scope out a location. I thought why not the creek behind where I stay. And then I thought why not I get into the creek and do some candid photos prior to. I hope the water will not be too cold.

What is this for?
I'm not a model. I just had the pleasure of stepping in front the camera of a few really awesome photographers. We have galvanized in order to create some really beautiful art. By doing this, I have over time (and still working on it) learned how to embrace my body. I have been called fat, black, beautiful, ugly, disgusting, sexy, gracious, and some many other names that I can't begin to list them all; and most of those those have been said to my face. I make no apologies for who I am. I'm a work of my Higher Power's art; and the Creator's blue print for me has caused me some discomfort, discouragement, gratitude and now learning to accept my flaws with grace.
